He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hailey and Gencie Chevallier Hailey; and his siblings, Chester, A. W. Hailey, Bernice Deville and Wilma Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Dayton Hailey; his daughters, Tanya Hailey (Duke Nelson) of New Orleans and Sandra Hailey Kendrick (Jeff Kendrick) of Salem, Ala; his siblings, James "Hig" Hailey of Jena, M. S., Hazel Coon of Rogers and Johnnie Andrews of Jena; his grandchildren, Lauren Crowe, Hailey Nelson, Kyle Kendrick, Gencie Nelson and Ava Kendrick; and his great grandchild Violet Crowe.
