He was predeceased by: his wives, Nelda Lou Mitchell and Lea Jane Normand; his parents, John Roy and Cora Paul Ray; and his siblings, Claude Ray, Dorothy Allen, Ruby Clarkston and Mary Lou Duke.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Ray (Tammy) of Youngsville, Keith Ray (Dena) of Jena and Markaye Newman (Russell Seattle); and his sister Myma Horn of Shreveport.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Trinity Outdoor Disabled Adventures and Guardian Hospice.
