He is survived by: his children, Janice "Louise" McFarlen Jones (Kirby) of Jena and James M.; his sister Rosie; his grandchildren, Dwayne Jones of Los Angeles, California, Shane Jones Bolton of Provencal, Jake McFarlen (Victoria) of Jena, Jeb McFarlen (Ashley) of Covington and Brett Grantham (Ashley) of Bossier City; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Meagan, Waylon Bolton, Chase Natalie, Delilah McFarlen, Lola, Olivia, Jensen McFarlen, Ava and Audrey Grantham.
