With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Larry Manning of Jena, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Manning and Margie Gaharan; his stepparents, Don Gaharan and Inez Manning; his nephew Chris Clark; and his brother-in-law Buster Scroggs, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Elaine Manning of Jena; his children, Jeffrey Manning (Samantha) of Jena and Erika Clancy (George III) of Pineville; his siblings, Terry Manning (Sherry) of Alexandria and Kaylon Smith of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Ryan Clancy, Drew Clancy, Levon Manning and Josie Manning; his sisters-in-law, Helen Scroggs and Cara Bass Scroggs; and his pets, Queenie and Leroy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (109 US-84, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
