James Allen Farmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Allen Farmer of Jena, Louisiana, who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Farmer and Rita Farmer; and his siblings, Clyde Farmer Jr., Ruth Dotson and Alice Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Nona; his children, James L. Farmer (Jennifer), Dustin and Kylie Howard (Ben) of Dry Prong, LA; his grandchildren, Janna Farmer, Justin Farmer, Gus Finlay, Jacob Farmer, Jaxson Farmer and Doc Howard; and his siblings, Leon Farmer of Urania, LA, Dot Glidewell of Olla, LA and Margaret Coleman of Urania, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (11886 US-84, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena (11886 US-84, Jena, LA 71342).
