She was predeceased by: her parents, Vira Maebell Beavers Thornton and George Edward Thornton; her husband Curtis Owens; her son Kenneth Scott Owens; and her siblings, Edward Thornton and Opal Marie Anglin.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Owens (Tery) and Michael Owens (Teresa); and her sister Evelyn Windham. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
