She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ike Earl Hailey and Bennie Mae Johnson Hailey; her grandparents, Isaac Wesley Hailey and Nancy Belle Bradford Hailey; her husband Richard Jones; her son David Lamar Jones Sr.; her sisters, Cora Belle Hailey and Beth May; her nephews, Jeff Walker and Charles Aaron Hailey; her grandson David Lamar Jones Jr. (Amie) of Jena; her great grandchildren, David Lamar Jones III of Jena, Lindsey Suzanne Jones of Jena and Jack Dawson Jones of Jena; and her siblings, Early David Hailey Sr. (Thalia) of Jena, Ikie Mae Henderson of Harrisonburg, Vera "Shine" Walker of Orlando and Orlean "Teen" Davidson (Charles "Bubba") of Natchez, Mississippi. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
