He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vernon Masters of Sandy Lake and Nellie Loice Mitchell of Jena; his siblings, Millard Masters, Ocie Masters, Alvin Masters, Viva LaCroix and LaVerne Cox; and his grandchildren, Allen Dale Masters and Michelle Cherie Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Linnie Faye Morris Masters; his children, Kenneth LaVel Masters of Walkerville, Dennis Glen "Dinky" Masters (Connie) of Jena, Shirley LaVerne Masters Newman of Jena, Katherine "Kathy" Diana Masters and Husband Donny of Jena; and his sister Christine Masters Gentry.
