We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 82, Donnia Gail Robertson (Jena, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donnia Gail may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Glen "Pete" Murrell Evans, Ima Jean Sandifer and Margarrette Long. She is survived by: her siblings, Van Dale Evans and Elizabeth Freeman; and her children, Douglas Bryan Robertson, Carolyn Jean Lacks, Dana Denay Chapman, Deborah LaShay Girlinghouse and DeAnn Renee Vickers. She is also survived by grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (5933 Aimwell Rd, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
