It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Raymond of Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Alexander and Hilda Hamilton Alexander; her husband Robert James Raymond; and her siblings, Sophie Lee Alexander August and Leroy Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, Mimi Raymond and Eric Raymond, Sr.; her sisters, Ruby Dupris (George), Patricia Alexander, Regina Grant and Trucella Johnson; her grandchildren, Diamon Bennett, Allan Bennett, Kyvon Clay and Samaya Clay; and her sister-in-law Valerie Alexander. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
