With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie Johnson Clay (Jeanerette, Louisiana), who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Joyce Clay, Joseph Clay and Wilfred Clay; her parents, Henry Johnson, Sr. and Mary Steward Johnson; and her siblings, Henry Johnson, Jr., Clarence Johnson, Willie Johnson, Mary Nerve, Louise Granger and Margaret Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Laura C. Dangerfield (Aaron) of Sorrel, LA, Anderson Clay, Jr. (Juanita) of New Iberia, LA, Darrel Clay (Deidra) of New Iberia, LA and Alvin Clay (Toni) of Patterson, LA; her goddaughter Diane Johnlewis; and her daughter-in-law Carrie Clay of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
