He is survived by: his wife Marie Duhon Borel; and his children, Vickie Landry (Orien) of New Iberia, Joanie Perero (Shane) of Youngsville, Kiz Verret (Chester, Jr.) of Jeanerette, Lissie Borel of New Iberia and Rhine Borel (Marcie) of New Iberia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
