It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Joseph Arton of Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Judy LeBlanc Arton; his parents, Lawrence Arton and Rita Arton; and his in-laws, Romeal and Odiel LeBlanc.
He is survived by: his children, Art Arton (Vanesa Gonzales) of Texas and Yvonne Jacobs (George) of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Noah Joseph Arton, Ava Grace Arton and Randolph Lawrence Jacobs; his siblings, Terry John Arton (LouJuanna) and Robert Paul Arton (Terri); and his nephew Steven Arton.
His contributions to his community, both through his military service and involvement in local events, paint a picture of someone who was deeply loved and respected.
