He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Ben" Phillips and Georgiana Robertson-Phillips; and his siblings, Ora Lee Phillips, Marva Robertson, Northern Gibson, Segers Phillips and Henry Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cassandra Renee Phillips of Houston, TX., Felicia Oleen Phillips of Houston, TX. and Tresjola Kay Phillips of Houston, TX.; and his siblings, Jessie Gibson (Melvina) of Houston, TX, Patricia Gibson (Northern), Arthur Phillips, Georgia Taylor, Angenetta Phillips of Jeanerette, LA, Gloria Wilkins (Joe), Lawrence Phillips (Linda) of Los Angeles, CA, Audrey Robertson of Washington, DC and Belvin Givens (Melvin) of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and many treasured friends.
