It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Lemaire Robichaux of Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Robichaux, Sr.; her parents, Fabian Lemaire, Sr. and Constance Stella LeBlanc Lemaire; her siblings, Jimmy Lemaire, Ronald Lemaire, Laura Moresi and Loretta "Totsie" LeJeune; and her son-in-law David Wolf.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Robin (Mike), Doug Robichaux, Jr. (Lolo), Karl Robichaux (Tammy), Brenda Booty (Kevin) and Sheila Wolf; her brother Fabian "Bib" Lemaire, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Guy Robichaux (Shelly), Alison Pugh (Ducky), Derrick Lagarde (Ali), Ryan Robin, Marc Robin (Courtney), Rochelle Hartmann (Tom), Stephanie Babineaux (Seth), Jake Robichaux (Sara), Samuel Booty (Beth) and Rebecca White (Kade).
A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (1510 Church St, Jeanerette, LA 70544). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beau Pre' Cemetery (7605 E Old Spanish Trail, Jeanerette, LA 70544).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mrs. Robichaux's name to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette (https://www.stjohnjeanerette.org) for mass intentions or the building fund.
