He was predeceased by: his daughter Robin Marie Allen; his great grandchild Brentrell Allen; his parents, Harry Allen, Sr. and Louvina Hurst; his siblings, Joyce Allen, Earl Williams, Truman Allen and Oliver Hurst; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Moore, Lois Knatt, Andrew Moore, Sr., Avery Knatt, Sr., Raymond Robertson, Sr., Paul Colar and James Colar.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Colar Allen of Jeanerette, LA; his children, Rodney Allen (Stephanie) of Jeanerette, LA, Argile Johnson (KJ) of Jeanerette, LA, Michelle Allen of Jeanerette, LA and Santina Allen of Jeanerette, LA; his siblings, Louise Allen of New Iberia, LA, Laura Lavine (Harold) of New Iberia, LA, Lillie Mae Allen of New Iberia, LA, Annette Lockett (Edward) of New Iberia, LA and Arthur Lee Allen of Jeanerette, LA; and his siblings-in-law, William Colar (Gwendolyn) of Jeanerette, LA, Felton Colar (Diane) of Jeanerette, LA, Jerry Mae Robertson of Four Corners, LA and Mary Allen of New Iberia, LA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
