“Mr. Ga & Mrs. Kay were like a second set of parents to me. They were kind, generous, always welcoming, and worked hard on behalf of youth tennis players in the 60s & 70s. They supported programs at City Park and were very engaged in civic organizations. Mr. Ga’s very unique, and very loud whistle could be heard throughout City Park or any other tennis venue when Gabe, Michel, or Francis needed encouragement. The world was a better place with Ga & Kay Fortier as part of humanity. They live on in their amazing sons, daughters-in-laws, and grandchildren. And their memory will continue to bring joy to those who had the good fortune to cross their paths. Much love from the Heberts: Marie, Warren, Jr., Glenn, Laurie, Sharon, Gregg, Clint, Tommy, Sandra, Oaul, & John.”
