It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Moresi Buteau of Jeanerette, Louisiana, born in New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George P. Moresi, Sr. and Geraldine Daigle Moresi. She is survived by: her husband Rickey Buteau, Sr.; her children, Amanda LeJeune (Denny), Kathryn Brasseaux (Chad) and Rickey Buteau, Jr.; her grandchildren, Madison Switzer, Chandler Brasseaux, Rikalyn Buteau, Andre'LeJeune, Jasmine L. Mitchel (Elijah) and Addison LeJeune; and her great grandchildren, Emerson Mitchel, Elliot Mitchel and Eason Mitchel. She is also survived by seven siblings.
