She was predeceased by: her husband Orgnell Borel; her parents, Jeresime Guillotte and Olivia Boudreaux Guillotte; her son Lonnie Borel; her siblings, Wilbert Borel, Gertrude Branetley and Audrey Borel; her children-in-law, Paulfrey Derise, Ellen Fay Borel, Delores Borel and Loretta Borel; and her great grandchildren, Rachael Renee Derise and Joshua Blaine Derise.
She is survived by: her children, Carrol Borel, Sr. (Vernice) of Jeanerette, Larry D. Borel of Jeanerette and Janell B. Derise of Jeanerette. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and twenty-two great great grandchildren.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family for funeral expenses.
