It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Greer of Jamestown, Louisiana, born in Ringgold, Louisiana, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Greer; her son Ben Dewey Greer; her parents, Anderson Woodall and Alice Woodall; her sister Lavon Hays; and her son-in-law Jackie Crowley.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Speicher (Jim) of Jonesboro, LA, Ann Crowley of Jamestown, LA and Alvin Greer (Sherri) of Jamestown, LA; her siblings, Mary Bates of Tyler, TX and Lorris Woodall (Lela Paul) of Conway, AR; her grandchildren, Tricia Hummer, Holly Walker, April Norwood, Amy Creamer, Abby Williams, Adam Greer, Allyson Edwards and Alex Greer; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Harley Walker, Chylan, Michaely Blair, Addison, Allie, Ashland Williams, Greta, Gardner, Grant Edwards, Hadley, Clayton Greer, Elizabeth Norwood and Evan Creamer.
