He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Edwards and Evie Edwards; his sister Cora Powell; and his son-in-law Tommy Haddox. He is survived by: his wife Nancy White Edwards; his daughter Melissa Haddox; his sisters, Doris Maxwell (Steve) and Shirley Qualls (David); his grandchildren, David Haddox (Kelly) and Emily Haddox; and his great grandchild Remy Haddox. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
