He was predeceased by: his mother Nannie Lee Morgan; his brothers, Reeves Eugene, Charles Travis, Wade McLain and James Kenneth Morgan; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Burge Morgan and Reggie "Pete" Jenkins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Morgan Jenkins and Larry Van Morgan; and his sisters-in-law, Berlene Mercer Morgan and Sally Stuart Morgan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
