It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtis Jane Fooshee of Jackson, Louisiana, born in Tremont, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Blackard and Miley Ann Mitchell Blackard; her husband William Clark Fooshee Sr.; her son G. G.; and her siblings, J. D. Blackard, Myrtle Dear and Dale Blackard.
She is survived by: her sons, Clark, Jr. (Gail) and Robert Allen (Ivy); her daughter-in-law Rae Fooshee; her grandsons, Brad, Scott (Kristen) and Matthew (Kelley Fooshee); her great grandchildren, Kate, Will, Jack and Oliver Fooshee; her great great grandchild Lee; and her siblings, Lela Mae Elam and Archie (Geraldine Blackard).
