She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine Fontenot and Verna Guillory Fontenot; and her siblings, Hersey Fontenot, Winnie Dean Smith and Marie Shirlene Fontenot.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Fontenot Jr. of Carencro and Holly Palombo (Doug) of Lafayette; her close friend Nathan Manuel of Jackson; and her granddaughters, Audrey Palombo and Adele Palombo.
