He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Dear; and his brother-in-law Alvin Giroir. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Dear; his daughters, Alicia Naquin (Joseph) of Zachary and Ashley Cupit of Jackson, LA; his sisters, Kay Giroir of Jackson, LA and Brenda Dear of Jackson, LA; his grandchildren, Lindsey Naquin, Karley Naquin and Falynn Cupit; his niece Dana Travis (Jeff); and his nephew Shannon Giroir (Brandy).
