It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Sagely of Jackson, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Sagely; her parents, Allen McGowan and Modine McGowan; and her siblings, Michael McGowan and Deborah Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Gilmore (Travis) of Denham Springs, Patsy Sanders (Danny) of Jackson, Calvin Sagely (Lyndsey) of Liberty, MS and Anthony Cormier of Jackson; her sisters, Judy Conerly of Jackson, Sylvia Ebbs of Denham Springs and Vivian McGowan of St. Francisville; her grandchildren, Nathan Sagely, Hunter Sagely, Benton Sagely, Makenzie Sagely, Addie Sagely, Kaylynn Sanders of Daniel, Sanders III, Jasmine Sanders, Jordan Sanders, Jude Gilmore and Ella Gilmore; and her great grandchildren, Naceigh Sagely, Stella Sagely and Payton Sagely. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
