He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Fontenot and Dewey Joseph Cormier; his stepmother Laura Cormier; and his siblings, Leeroy Cormier and Dewey Joseph Cormier, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Benoit Cormier; his sons, Wilton Paul Cormier, Jr. (Lora), Kevin Cormier (Wendy) and David Cormier; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Callie, Ashley, Cherrie, Shannon, Christian and Maggie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
