He is survived by: his wife Lena Sonnier; his children, Shannon Thibodeaux (Krystal) and Tommy Sonnier; his stepchildren, Danny Richard (Yvette), James Richard, Cathy Richard, Josh Richard and Kimberly Richard; and his sister Rebecca Sonnier. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
