He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Amber Hardy; and his siblings, Dudley Hardy, Ray Hardy, Willie Hardy and Diane Fontenot.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Hardy; his children, Michael Hardy, Kevin Hardy (Sharla), Deidre Begnaud (David), Michelle Lee and Myron Hardy (Katrina); his siblings, Daniel Hardy, Laura Gotreaux and Eugene Hardy (Elaine); his grandchildren, Brittany Corbello (Lucas), Alex Begnaud (Jordan), Caroline Hardy, Christa Hardy, Leah Begnaud, Isabella Hardy and Audrey Hardy; and his great grandchildren, Spencer Begnaud, Mia Corbello, Emmett Corbello, Owen Corbello and Ethan Corbello.
