He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Josephine Ardoin; his son Ken Ardoin; his daughter-in-law Brenda Ardoin; his great grandchild Paige Ardoin; his siblings, James, Gene, Wilton Ardoin and Wilda Abbott; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Boone and Richard Guillotte.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin "Cowboy" Ardoin, Tony Ardoin (Melinda) and Sharon Ardoin Martinez (Carlos); and his sisters, Helen Boone and Bessie Guillotte. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
