He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Shuff and Doris Shuff (Fontenot); and his siblings, Matthew, Burchman Shuff and Marie Riggs.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Shuff; his sons, Keith Shuff (Alice), Neal Shuff (Pam) and Troy Shuff (Danielle); his brother Allen Shuff; and his grandchildren, Kandice Shuff, Kristen Shuff, Karley Leleux (Brandon), Trent Shuff (Haylee), Tiffany Barr (Matt), Chloe Settle (Mason) and Marissa Shuff. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
