He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Adam and Lelia Bourgeois (Louviere); and his siblings, D. J. Bourgeois, Richard Bourgeois, Nola Jane Bourgeois Broussard and Ruth Bourgeois Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Cady Bourgeois; his daughters, Rhonda Tomb (Kevin) and Kimberly Meaux (Paul); his grandchildren, Landon Tomb, Kelsey Carter (Caleb), Steven Paul Meaux, Bryce Meaux (Rachelle) and Kayli Meaux; his great grandchildren, Tate Comeaux, Blake Meaux and Lyla Carter; his brother Charles Bourgeois (Barbara); and his sisters-in-law, Christine Bourgeois and Yvonne Bourgeois.
