She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenis LaPointe and Gertie Abshire LaPointe; her husband Harvey Crysel; and her son Justin LaPointe. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy LaPointe (James Sattler), William LaPointe (Ruby) and Robert LaPointe (Ashley); her stepdaughters, Emma Crysel and Sherry Kramer (Christopher); her nephews, Anthony LaCour (Karolyn) and Brandon LaCour; and her niece Katrina Aucoin (Michael).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
