He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcess Talbot and Catherine Beatrice Talbot (Fontenot); his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Denise Ardoin Talbot; and his sister Carolyn Buller.
He is survived by: his wife Dean Talbot (Benoit); his children, Dina Talbot Matt (Marvin) and Kevin Talbot (Lisa); his siblings, Rod Talbot (Eunice Rae), Penny Dugas (George), Cecil Talbot (Brenda), Bennett Talbot (Kim), Tommy Talbot (Gay) and Bobby Talbot (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Sarah Talbot Standford (Blake), Laura Talbot (Jeremy Lowery), Matthew Talbot, Zachary Talbot (Miranda), Mallory Begnaud (Jordan), Kaleb Talbot (Mary Grace), Melise McKeivier and Garrett Matt (Connie). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
