He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dirk and Winifred Hoogland; his brothers, Richard and Fredric Hoogland; his grandson Collin Brown; his sister Minette; his siblings-in-law, Ed Cooper, Virginia Hoogland and Kennon Goff; and his nephew Marc Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Etta Goff; his siblings, Donald Hoogland of Dallas, TX and Jane McDermott (Tom) of Shreveport, LA; his sisters-in-law, Stephanie Goff and Margaret Hoogland of Ruston, LA; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, true friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Louisiana Tech Athletic Club (LTAC) or to 4 Paws Rescue (318-251-3649).
