He is survived by: his wife Cora Lognion; his children, Cheryl Matthias Bebee, Patrick S. Matthias (Cindy), Nancy Matthias Tomasich (Oscar) and Stacey A. Matthias; his grandchildren, Marcus Bebee and Katie Matthias; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Bebee (Marcus) and Christopher Maxwell (Marcella); and his granddaughter Marcella Bebee.
In place of flowers or plants, he requested that monetary donations be directed to St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles and St. Jude.
