She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Befford and Kathleen Befford (Harrinan); her husband Ronald Earl King, Jr.; and her son James King. She is survived by: her children, Ricky King (Ginger), Ronnie King (Jennifer), Julie Fontenot (Matthew) and Rhonda Stewart; and her siblings, Lester Hodgkins and Edith Anderson (Clayton). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fifty-one great-grandchildren.
