It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Zaunbrecher of Iowa, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dallas and Rose Schneider; her brother Stephen Schneider; and her grandson Cory James Sittig. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Zaunbrecher; her children, Jeff Zaunbrecher (Bernice), Angie Fontenot (Clint), Janet Pousson (George), Doug Zaunbrecher (Penny), Glenda Reed (Conwin), Josie Castillo (Jim), Brian Zaunbrecher (Rae) and Crystal Self (Aaron); her siblings, Barbara, McDaniel and Michael Glenn Schneider (Carol); and her grandsons, Zeb Zaunbrecher, Jake Fontenot, Seth Janssen, Kyle Castillo, Brock Zaunbrecher and Kade Castillo. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
