She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Mervyn and Betty June Young (Greathouse); and her grandson Jarrett Scott Nunez. She is survived by: her husband Ron Schultz; her children, Felisha Nunez (Scott) and Brett Schultz (Kelly Kindred); her daughter-in-law Suzanne Schultz; her siblings, Sylvia Poimboeuf (Charles), Mike Young and Ida Frantz (Lowell); her grandchildren, Emily Gilmore (Justin), Samantha Schultz, Evan Schultz (Casey), Ellie Nunez and Kane Nunez; and her great grandchildren, Kai, Cora and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 8:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church (11054 LA-384, Lake Charles, LA 70607).
