He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvey Landry Manuel and Hilda Wilks Manuel; his former wife Emma Manuel; and his niece Jennifer Manuel. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Gauthreaux Manuel; his daughter Dawn Renee Manuel Smith; his grandchildren, Cadence Manuel, Alexander Smith and Darian Spooner; his great grandchildren, Ayla Elizabeth Spooner, Aubrey Elizabeth Bruce and Amelia Kate Bruce; and his siblings, Larry Manuel (Rhonda), Jerry Manuel (Helen) and Priscilla Murphy (Evin).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
