He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Miller Deaville Dietz; his parents, Johnny Dietz and Vivian Leckelt Dietz; his children, Marilyn Guidry, Tommy Deaville and Rickey Deaville; and his sister Alberta Matte.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Hoffpauir (Montana) of Pleasant Hill, Steven Hoffpauir (Amy) of Crowley, Suzanne Leckelt (Paul) of Iota, Trudy Dietz of Eunice, Dalphine Pousson of Iota, Tammy Manuel (Scotty) of Eunice and Alisha Boone of Eunice; and his sisters, Anna Mae Dietz (Tommy) of Iota and Ruby Cart of Iota. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
