He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Gotte and Lola Belle Leckelt Gotte; his brothers, Rocky Gotte, Kirt Gotte, Patrick Gotte and Baby Gotte; his grandchild Baby Granger; and his mother-in-law Lorraine LeGros.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonetta LeGros Gotte; his daughters, Kadi Schexnayder (Sidney) of Gotts Cove, Kasi Granger (Derek) of Oberlin and Kali Joe Self (Dustyn) of Hathaway; his sister Frieda Gotte of Gotts Cove; his grandchildren, Aubreigh, Wyatt, Sophie, Hadlei, Trenton, Hailey, Ellenore, Titus, Norah and John David; and his sister-in-law Dannette Stagg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Grace Community Church (212 Mamou Prairie Rd, Iota, LA 70543). Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Grace Community Church Cemetery (214 Mamou Prairie Rd, Iota, LA 70543).
