He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzia Cormier LaCombe and Julia P. Clement; and his siblings, Virgie Broussard, Douglas LaCombe, Dorothy Robertson, Ruby L. Doucet, Nelda L. Cormier, Louise L. Miller and Jane L. Petitjean.
He is survived by: his wife Judia C. LaCombe of Iota; his children, Julie L. Hebert (Troy) of Iota and James R. LaCombe, Jr. (Emma) of Iota; his godchildren, Kimberly Carriere, Sid Fruge and Milton Fruge; his siblings, Earl LaCombe, Joe LaCombe (Bertha), Joey Clement, Jeffrey Clement (Tammy) and Joella C. Lease (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Hanna J. McFarlain, Maegan L. Dugas (Quinten), Trent J. McFarlain (Sara) and Kaeley L. Dufrene (Eric); his great grandchildren, Mason Dies, Hunter Dugas, Nicholas Hulin, Natalie Hulin, Braden Dugas, Parker Dugas, Daylen Dugas, Ally Dugas and Nathan McFarlain; his close friends, Marlon, Tricia McFarlain, Robert Credeur and Carey Broussard; and his grandfather Louviere. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
