He is survived by: his wife Loretta Lantz Short; his children, Trish Daigrepont (John), David Short (Stephanie), Douglas Short (Cheryl) and Danny Short; and his grandchildren, Greg Short, Mandy Short, Celeste Henry, Maggie Miller, Chris Short, Melissa Dooley, Heather Rosenthal, Tyler Short and Garrett Short.
