It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Beatrice Varnado Evans (Independence, Louisiana), born in Tangipahoa, Louisiana, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Mark Evans Sr.; and her daughter Sylvia Darling Evans. She is survived by: her parents, Freiler T. Varnado and Sylvia Carter Varnado; her son Ronald Mark Evans Jr. (Bobbie Jean); and her sister Maxine V. Tillery.
