He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Maurer; his children, Amanda Maurer and Steven Ray "Buck" Maurer; his siblings, Bonnie Sue Stewart, Dianne Mason, Linda Jean Whiddon (Travis), Maggie Whiddon (Charles), Brenda Russell (Buddy) and Marion Otto Maurer, Jr.; his grandchildren, Steven Pete Maurer, Cheyenne Landry, Cory Maurer, Jordon Maurer and Siarrah Perry; and his great grandchildren, Luca Maurer and Oaklyn Maurer.
