It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Ann Mannino Taylor Spitale of Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughters, Robin Abrams (Charles), Karen Gregory (Jimmy) and Bernadette Klene (Dennis); her former husband James Taylor; her siblings, Josephine Westmoreland and Sal Mannino; and her parents, Angelina "Jenny" Mannino and Joe Mannino.
She is survived by: her husband Vincent Spitale; her son David Spitale (Sherri); her siblings, Laura Ianetta and Anthony Mannino (Geri); and her grandchildren, Jimmy Gregory (Chasity), Jeni Dunnington (John), Kevin Gregory (Karlie), Taylor Abrams (Kayla), Kristen Sargent (Heath), Jason Emmons, Lauren Klene, Angel Spitale (Jeff), Rachel Spitale, Samuel Freeman (Brianna), Brendan Freeman, Thomas Myers and Grace Myers. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.
