He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Goodwin Murphy. He is survived by: his daughter Kristina S. Murphy; his father Frank H. Murphy; his siblings, Doris Young (Johnny), Terri Duhon (Kevin) and Jeffrey Murphy (Janelle); and his granddaughter Paige Elizabeth Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Bankston Cemetery.
