Genevieve Gregoire Messina Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Gregoire Messina of Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Pourciau and Raymond Gregoire; her husband Mario Messina, Sr.; her daughter Barbara Messina Graziano; and her sister Theresa G. Ladner.

She is survived by: her son Mario Messina (Flora); her son-in-law Phil Graziano; her grandchildren, Angela Graziano Cali (Sam), Raymond P. Graziano (Lisa), Justin Messina and Jeremy Messina; her great grandchildren, Victoria Rooney Wilson (Eli) and Genevieve Graziano; and her great great grandchild Meghan Elizabeth Wilson.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana. Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and the church.
