He was predeceased by: his parents, Euel Hinson and Selena Starns Hinson; his former wife Patricia; his siblings, Myrtis and Newman; his niece Rita; and his nephew Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hinson; his daughter Sharon Laudenglos; his stepchildren, Michelle Grice (Alan), Melissa Bennett (Kevin Manuel), Edna Spring Jones, John (Vicki), Roddy (Sandy), Doug (Tanya) and Wayne Spring (Melissa); and his nieces and nephews, Etta Baham (Gerald), Katherine McGlothren (Brad), Herbert Jones and Bobby Adams. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Mr. Leon.
